Book Sleeve

Project overview: Students will be assigned a random story from this website and create a sleeve for it. Embrace the theme and storyline and add your interpretation to how you could get a middle schooler interested in reading this. You will redesign a book cover for your final. This process should focus on type-based covers. This means the focal point is type, but you can use images, but no photos. You will create this design along with a process book and print the final book.

Introduction to Graphic Design Class

Programs used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Procreate

First, I started with choosing a concept relative to the short story “The Dinner Party.” I decided that I could either go a more snake-centered route, or a more dining-table themed route.
